The Blackburn Rovers, a historic club and icon of English football, as it prepares for a new season in the EFL Championship, has unveiled the new ‘Home’ shirt’ which will be worn during home matches at Ewood Park, the Rovers’ home ground since 1890.

A shirt that combines the tradition of an equally iconic design with a message of sustainability and respect for the environment. The kit is produced by Macron, the club’s technical partner since 2021, with Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic, which means that 13 0.5-litre bottles are recycled and used to make one jumper.

The new ‘Home’ kit for the 2023–2024 season features a white polo-style collar with sky-blue detailing and comes in the traditional shirt design white half (right) and blue half (left) and sleeves in inverted colours. The back of the neck is personalised with a label on a blue background featuring the English club’s logo, alongside the logo Macron and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight that every garment is conceived, designed and developed in the capital of Emilia.

The words ‘ROVERS F.C.’ are printed in blue on the back of the neck, using the same font as that used outside the stadium where the statue of Jack Walker stands (the club’s owner in the year of the historic Premier League victory in the 1994/1995 season). The words ‘ROVERS F.C.’ also appear on both the left vertical stripe and the right sleeve, printed using sublimation printing in a tone-on-tone finish. On the right side of the chest, the Macron the Hero, whilst on the left, on the heart side, there is the coat of arms of the Blackburn Rovers. The home kit is completed by white shorts with sky-blue drawstrings and blue socks with a white top edge featuring a thin sky-blue horizontal stripe.

The jumper has a fit Slim fit, the main fabric is Eco Softlock. The finish of the rear panel in Eco Micromesh and the inserts in Eco Mesh They ensure the top is lightweight and perfectly breathable.
