DJK Rimpar Wölfe, a German handball team, and Macron, the ‘Hero’ company and technical sponsor of the ‘wolves’ from Lower Franconia, have unveiled the new match kits for the coming competitive season. The wolf, the club’s symbol, once again features prominently on the kits, which have been conceived, designed and produced by the Italian brand.
The new ‘Home’ shirt is green, with a crew neck and white trim, and sleeves in a darker shade of green. On the front, in the bottom left-hand corner, there is a sublimation-printed design of a wolf’s silhouette, the symbol of the German team. On the back, the design in the bottom left-hand corner depicts the wolf’s claw mark. On the back, below the neckline, four words are embroidered in white: ECHT – WILD – TREU – GIERIG (true – wild – loyal – insatiable). On the chest, in white, is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo, and to the left is the DJK Rimpar Wölfe crest.
The ‘Away’ version is white with a green-trimmed collar and grey sleeves. A distinctive graphic feature of the away shirt is the sublimation print of the word ‘WOLFSREVIER’, which appears repeatedly in various sizes and orientations (horizontal, vertical, upside down) on both the front and back, in a tone-on-tone design. On the back of the collar are the four words ECHT – WILD – TREU – GIERIG, embroidered in green. On the chest are the Macron Hero logo and the team crest. Here too, at the bottom left of the back, the wolf’s claw marks are featured in the same grey as that used on the sleeves.
