The’Arminia Bielefeld, a historic German football club, has presented the new race kits which “die Arminen” will wear during the coming competitive season. These kits, whilst honouring the club’s tradition and symbols, continue to raise awareness of sustainability and environmental issues thanks to the fabric used by Macron To make them: Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic.

The new ‘Home Kit’, a crew-neck design, features all the traditional colours of Arminia Bielefeld. The main body is blue, with black and white on the shoulders and sleeves. The back of the neck is personalised with the team’s colours and logo, alongside the Macron logo and the text Designed in Bologna to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Macron Headquarters. On the outer back of the collar, the year 1905 is embroidered in white – the year the club was founded. The club takes its name from the legendary Arminius, hero of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, who halted the Roman advance into Germany. On the chest, in silicone print, on the right is the Macron the Hero, on the left the coat of arms of the’Arminia Bielefeld And in the middle, just below the collar, is a detail that sets these new shirts apart: the ‘chevron’ graphic in sublimation print. The shorts are black, whilst the blue socks with black tops feature the ‘chevron’ design on the calf.

The ‘Away Kit’ is black with white shoulders and half-sleeves, and features the same design as the home shirt, with the ‘chevron’ graphic beneath the crew neck, between the Macron Hero logos and the German club’s crest. The fabric used for the main body of the shirt is different: Eco Jacquard with a chequered pattern. The shorts and socks are black; the socks have a thin white line along the top edge.

Red for the main body, white for the shoulders – these are the colours used for this version ‘Third’ which is identical in every respect to the design of Home and Away. Here too, the fabric used is Eco Jacquard, but with a distinctive striped pattern. The shorts are red with white drawstrings, whilst the red socks feature a thin white stripe along the top edge and a white ‘chevron’ pattern on the calf.

Arminia Bielefeld’s match kits and the clothing range produced by Macron are available in the section dedicated to the German club on the website macron.com.
