Northampton Saints, the historic English rugby club which has enjoyed a thrilling season in the Gallagher Premiership, has unveiled the new ‘Home’ shirt that the team will wear during matches at Franklin’s Gardens throughout the coming season. A modern design and the use of a new fabric make this technical garment sophisticated, exclusive and, at the same time, highly functional.

The tradition remains unchanged, with the ‘Home’ shirt featuring the club’s three historic colours: black, green and gold. The polo collar, shoulders and sleeves are black, whilst the main body of the shirt (front and back) is green with four horizontal bands, spaced apart and consisting of two narrower black stripes and a wider gold stripe in the centre. The same design is also featured on the back, with three horizontal bands. The back of the neck is personalised with the club’s colours and crest. On the right-hand side of the chest, in white sublimation print, is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo; on the left is the Northampton Saints crest.

The home kit is completed by black shorts with white drawstrings and side panels featuring the same design as the shirt. The socks are green with two horizontal black-gold-black stripes and a black knitted top edge.

The fit is Body and the main fabric is Armevo, with Bodytex and Strong Mesh inserts – a new fabric which, as well as being durable, gives the garment lightness, a perfect fit and breathability.
