Following the cancellation of last season due to issues linked to the Covid emergency, anticipation is building amongst the Macron Warriors Viadana – a Lombardy-based powerchair hockey club competing in Serie A1 – ahead of the start of the new season. Following the announcement of the renewal of the technical partnership with Macron, the Hero Company – a collaboration that has now spanned ten years – comes the unveiling of the new match shirts that Fabio Merlino and his teammates will wear during their upcoming fixtures.

Macron Warriors Viadana, a Lombardy-based powerchair hockey club competing in Serie A1, and Macron, the Hero Company, have unveiled the new match shirts that Fabio Merlino and his teammates will wear in their upcoming matches.

The ‘warrior’ spirit of the Viadana team is well represented in the new match kits, which the Italian brand – an international leader in the teamwear sector – has created by combining the club’s colours with sophisticated graphics and a dynamic, modern design.

The new “Home” kit retains the Macron Warriors’ traditional red and blue colours, which blend into two diagonal stripes that fade into one another. The crew neck is knitted with white trim, as are the cuffs of the sleeves, which are two-tone: blue on the right, red on the left. On the right-hand side of the chest is the Macron Hero – the Italian brand’s logo – embroidered in white, whilst on the left, over the heart, is the new Macron Warriors crest. On the back of the neck, centred between the shoulders, the words ‘A SYMBOL, A PASSION, A BATTLE’ stand out in blue.

The “Away” version features a white upper section and a blue lower section on the front of the shirt, separated by a diagonal sublimation-printed insert consisting of a series of white and blue grid lines. On the back of the shirt, the upper section is white and the lower section is red, whilst the diagonal graphic strip features white and red lines. In this version too, the sleeves have inverted colours: blue on the right, red on the left. On the chest are the Macron Hero logo and the Viadana club crest. The back of the collar bears the motto: ‘ONE SYMBOL, ONE PASSION, ONE BATTLE’.

After two seasons without winning the title, the Macron Warriors have set themselves ambitious goals, and these new kits perfectly embody the sense of belonging to the club’s colours and the fighting spirit and dynamism of Viadana’s ‘warriors’. Customised design, meticulous attention to detail and high-quality materials are the hallmarks of the Macron kit that the Warriors will be wearing in a season that is sure to be full of great rewards.
