Bolton Wanderers, a historic English football club founded in 1877 and currently competing in Football League One, and Macron, a leading international teamwear manufacturer and kit sponsor of ‘The Trotters” – who boast four FA Cups in their honours list – have unveiled the new home shirt that the team will wear throughout the 2021–2022 season.
The new “Home” shirt is white with a V-neck featuring red-and-blue knitted trim, a colour combination also found on the sleeve cuffs. The new Bolton Wanderers shirt features, on both the front and back, a tone-on-tone geometric design in embossed graphics, with a pixelated effect that fades downwards. On the right-hand side of the chest is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo, whilst on the left, over the heart, is the club crest.
The back of the neck is personalised with the team logo, and as a tribute to the city of Bolton, the graphic design on the back of the neck features the elephant and the castle – which form part of the city’s coat of arms – along with the motto ‘SUPERA MORAS’ (Overcome difficulties).
The jersey has a slim fit; the main fabric is Softlock, and the micromesh inserts ensure excellent breathability.
