The’Italrugby The team is ready to take to the field at the upcoming Rugby World Cup, which is due to take place in France from 8 September to 28 October. The Azzurri will make their debut on Saturday 9 September at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Étienne against Namibia, wearing the new jumpers that Macron, a technical partner of the FIR since 2017, has created this design to best represent the identity and fighting spirit of the Italian national XV.

The inside of the back of the neck is personalised with the word ‘ITALIA’ in a tone-on-tone design in the background, and the Italian Rugby Federation logo, the Macron logo and the text in the foreground Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Macron Headquarters. The logo of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the Macron the Hero and the coat of arms of the Italian Federation of Rugby. The key graphic feature of the new Italrugby jersey is the stylised laurel wreath on the front – taken from the FIR crest – which is printed using a tone-on-tone sublimation process. The lower back of the shirt also features an embossed design of the Capitoline Wolf. The ‘Home’ kit is completed by white shorts and light blue socks.

The version Away Kit è white with light blue detailing beneath the polo collar and along the sleeve hems. The graphic design echoes that of the home kit, featuring a personalised back neck, a tone-on-tone stylised laurel wreath across the entire front, and an embossed wolf design at the bottom of the back of the shirt. On the right side of the chest is the RWC 2023 logo, in the centre is the Macron Hero, and on the left is the FIR crest. The shorts are light blue and the socks are white. Both shirts have a Body Fit, the fabrics used are specifically Eco-Armevo with inserts in Eco-Boditex, materials which, as well as being lightweight and breathable, ensure maximum durability.
