One month on from the announcement of the partnership, Cricket Ireland e Macron have revealed the new race kits which will be worn by the Twenty20 International and One Day International teams. These jerseys represent the colours and symbols of an entire country rich in history and tradition, and are made from high-quality materials that provide the technical features necessary for maximum comfort and to best support the athletes in their performances on the pitch.
The shirt of the T-20 kit for the Cricket Ireland team, available in both short-sleeved and long-sleeved versions, features three shades of green. The polo neck with a three-button fastening is navy blue, as are the sleeve cuffs and the detailing on the sides and shoulders. The entire shirt features a design comprising geometric shapes and an all-over sublimation print of the Celtic knot – a symbol representing vital and spiritual energy, as well as a talisman against negativity. On the right-hand side of the chest, printed in white, is the Macron the Hero, whilst on the left, over the heart, the Cricket Ireland crest is printed with a satin-stitch effect.
The dark green It is the colour of the jumper of the team taking part in the races One-Day International. The polo collar is navy blue, as are the sleeve cuffs. The detailing on the sides and shoulders is gold. The Macron Hero and the Cricket Ireland logo are also gold, again featuring satin stitching. The graphic feature of this kit is contained within a tone-on-tone vertical band on the front left, within which the Celtic knot design appears once again, repeated and intertwined.
Both Cricket Ireland shirts have a Slim fit and the main fabric used to make them is Gotex, an innovative, high-performance yarn.
