APOEL FC, a team competing in the top flight of the Cypriot league, and Macron have unveiled the new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits that the Yellow-and-Blues will wear during the coming season.

The new ‘Home’ shirt features a crew neck with a blue and white knitted trim. Yellow and blue, the club’s traditional colours, feature on the front of the shirt in vertical stripes, enhanced by a geometric sublimation-printed design in tone-on-tone colours with a pixelated and slightly shaded effect. The design continues onto the sleeves, which feature blue cuffs. The back of the neck is personalised with a label on a blue background featuring a detail of the team’s logo and the words ΑΠΟΕΛ EΛΛΉΝΩΝ (APOEL ELLENICA), whilst the words APOEL FC are printed in blue on the outer back of the neck. On the right side of the chest is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo, whilst on the left side, over the heart, is the Cypriot club’s crest. The shorts are blue with white drawstrings, and the yellow socks feature two blue stripes along the top edge and one down the centre.

The ‘Away’ kit, which was designed and voted for by APOEL supporters from among more than 250 design proposals submitted by the supporters themselves, is white with a V-neck trimmed in light grey. The sleeves feature a trim with three blue-yellow-blue stripes and a wider orange one. On the centre of the shirt, in sublimation print, there are thin diagonal stripes, also in light grey, which gradually fade from the right shoulder towards the bottom, where, again in sublimation print, the club’s year of foundation is featured: 1926. A wide vertical stripe starts from the left shoulder, initially in blue, which breaks across the chest at the level of the team crest and then continues in yellow with increasingly thinner stripes that fade downwards. The back of the neck is personalised as on the home kit, and the words ‘APOEL FC’ appear in yellow on the nape of the neck. The shorts are white with a blue drawstring, whilst the orange socks feature three thin horizontal stripes along the top edge: two blue ones with a yellow one inside.

The fit is Slim Fit; the main fabric of the Home range is Softlock, and the inclusion of micromesh inserts makes the garments particularly lightweight whilst ensuring excellent breathability.
