Sampdoria Football Club and Macron, a leading international company in the teamwear sector and the club’s official kit supplier since last season, have unveiled the new “Home” shirt that the Blucerchiati will wear during the coming competitive season.

Tradition is important, and the home shirt for the 2021–2022 season once again features the royal blue Blucerchiati design with four horizontal stripes – white, red, black and white again – down the centre and on the back. The shirt has a crew neck, and the inside of the back neck is personalised with the Blucerchiati stripe and the words “La Maglia Più Bella Del Mondo” (The Most Beautiful Shirt in the World). On the outer back of the collar, the silhouette of ‘Baciccia’ – a typical bearded Genoese fisherman wearing a distinctive cap and pipe, and the team’s symbol – is printed in white.

On the right-hand side of the chest, in silicone print, is the ‘Macron Hero’, the Italian brand’s logo; on the left-hand side, over the heart, is a silicone patch featuring the U.C. Sampdoria crest.
