The official unveiling of Red Star Belgrade’s new ‘Away’ shirt has come after the season has already begun. Macron, ‘the Hero company’ and Crvena zvezda’s kit sponsor, has produced the shirt for Dejan Stankovic’s team, which, as always, is a leading contender in the Serbian Superliga.
The new ‘Away’ shirt features a crew neck with a red knitted trim. The dominant colour is navy blue, whilst the sleeves are silver with red and white detailing along the edges. An embossed, tone-on-tone geometric design features on the sleeves and the upper chest. The back of the neck, as in the ‘home’ version, is personalised with a red label bearing the Serbian club’s crest in the centre and the team’s name: ФК ЦРВЕНА ЗВЕЗДА.
The back of the collar features gold embroidery of the three stars from the Crvena Zvezda Belgrade crest, representing the club’s more than 30 domestic titles. Last season, Crvena Zvezda added its 32nd Serbian league title to its honours list following a record-breaking campaign.
The Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo, is embroidered in white on the right-hand side of the chest, whilst the club crest is on the left-hand side, over the heart. The fit is Slim Fit; the main fabric is Softlock, and the inclusion of micromesh inserts ensures the garment is lightweight and perfectly breathable.
