Ahead of Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s first match in the 2021–2022 7DAYS Eurocup, the Bologna-based club and Macron – the “Hero” company and official kit supplier to the ‘V nere’ – have unveiled the new ‘Cup’ kits, which will be worn this weekend at the Magenta Sport Cup, taking place at the Audi Dome in Munich, where Virtus will face Bayern, Panathinaikos and Red Star.
The ‘Home’ kit is white with a black-trimmed V-neck. The vertical stripes down the sides are also black. On the right-hand side of the chest is the Virtus Segafredo Bologna crest, and just below that, in black, the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo. On the shoulders, in the centre, just below the collar, is the Italian tricolour flag. The shirt features an all-over pattern of diagonal lines made up of repeated V-shapes with a pixelated and gradient effect.
The “Away” version is black with white trim around the V-neck and white vertical stripes down the sides. The design is identical to that of the ‘Home’ kit, featuring a series of diagonal lines that echo the V in the club crest, in a tone-on-tone effect, both on the front and back, creating a gradient and pixelated effect. The Bologna club’s crest and the Macron Hero logo are positioned on the right, whilst space is provided on the left for the 7DAYS Eurocup logo. The Italian tricolour is featured on the back of the collar.
The jerseys have a regular fit; the main fabric is Micromesh with mesh inserts, making the garment lightweight and particularly breathable.
The ‘Europa’ kit also includes a pre-match warm-up top: a black, long-sleeved shirt with two wide white stripes across the shoulders, featuring a design that echoes the repeated, gradient V-shapes found on the two match shirts. This garment has a slim fit and is made from Digitex fabric with mesh inserts.
