Following the announcement last July of the partnership between Macron, the Hero company, and Melbourne Victory FC, a club in the top tier of Australian football, the Italian brand and the club based in the capital of the State of Victoria have unveiled the new kits that the Victory will wear during the coming season. Both the home and away kits feature the colours and design of the Australian club’s logo.

The new ‘Home’ shirt is blue with a series of tone-on-tone diagonal stripes. On the chest is a large white ‘V’, as featured on the Melbourne Victory FC crest. It has a V-neck, and the back of the neck is personalised with the team’s colours and logo. The word ‘MELBOURNE’ is embroidered in white on the back of the collar. On the front, centred on the chest, is the Macron Hero – the Italian brand’s logo – printed in silicone; to the right is the Australian A-League crest, and to the left is the Melbourne Victory FC logo. The kit is completed by blue shorts.

The ’Away’ version is white, again featuring a V-neck with fluorescent green detailing, which is also found on the sleeve hems. The front of the shirt features tone-on-tone diagonal stripes, printed using the sublimation process. As with the ‘Home’ shirt, a large V stands out on the chest – in this case blue – echoing the layout of the Australian club’s crest. In the centre of the chest, in blue silicone print, is the Macron Hero logo; to the right is the Y-League logo and to the left, over the heart, is the Melbourne Victory FC crest. On the back of the collar, the word ‘MELBOURNE’ is embroidered in blue. White shorts complete the away kit.
