APOEL FC, a team competing in the A’ Katīgoria, the top tier of the Cypriot league which the yellow-and-blues have won no fewer than 28 times in their history, and Macron, the Hero company and an international leader in the teamwear sector, have unveiled the new 2021–2022 kits that the club will wear from the start of the coming season.

The new ‘Home’ kit is yellow and features a V-neck with yellow and blue trim, which also appears on the cuffs. The back of the neck is personalised with a label on a blue background featuring a detail of the team’s logo and the words ΑΠΟΕΛ EΛΛΉΝΩΝ, whilst the words APOEL FC are printed in blue on the outer back of the neck. On the chest, to the right, is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo, and to the left, over the heart, is the team crest. A distinctive feature of the Cypriot club’s home shirt is the sublimation-printed texture, which features a series of wavy lines in blue towards the bottom, appearing both on the sides and on the lower back. This same design appears on the sides of the yellow shorts, which feature a blue drawstring. The socks are yellow with a sequence of blue wavy lines down the centre.

The ‘Away’ version has a V-neck and is orange with black detailing on the inside of the collar, the sleeve hems and the bottom of the shirt. The back of the neck and the lettering on the back of the collar are identical to the ‘home’ version. In black, on the chest, the Macron Hero logo is on the right and the APOEL FC crest on the left. The shirt is personalised with a gradient-effect design which, towards the bottom, consists of a series of black triangles that gradually become denser until they form diamonds.

Both versions, ‘Home’ and ‘Away’, feature a silicone tape at the bottom of the shirt, customised with a chant dedicated to the «APOEL brothers watching from up above” (For all our brothers who are now watching from heaven).

The fit is Slim Fit; the main fabric for the Home kit is Softlock, whilst that for the Away kit is Gotex. Both feature micromesh inserts that ensure the garment is perfectly breathable.
