Edinburgh Rugby and Macron present the new 2026/27 Home Kit, a kit that interprets the identity of the Scottish club through its traditional navy blue, enhanced by graphic details in the club’s colours and elements inspired by its history. A kit developed by the Macron Style Centre that combines recognisability, technical research and a focus on performance, with a construction designed to support players throughout every phase of the game.
The new Edinburgh Rugby 2026/27 Home Kit features a navy blue base with a tone-on-tone pattern inspired by the rope wrapped around the anchor depicted in Edinburgh’s Coat of Arms. The graphic motif extends across the body of the jersey and the sleeves and is also picked up in orange in the collar details, creating a distinctive element that connects the design to the history and identity of the city.
The jersey features a polo collar and an essential construction, enhanced by subtle orange graphic details repeated on the sleeve cuffs and collar. The Macron Hero and Edinburgh Rugby crest are applied to the chest using a sublimated print. On the back, the graphic maintains the same colour identity and features a distinctive detail in the lower section: the anchor from Edinburgh’s Coat of Arms, created with an embossed effect.
Inside the collar, an orange tape with navy blue lettering features the wording “Always Edinburgh” repeated along its length. The personalised back neck, also positioned inside the collar, features the club colours, the club crest, the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, confirming that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The kit is completed by navy blue shorts, with blue and orange graphic details along the sides that pick up the rope motif of the anchor featured on the jersey, together with matching socks featuring a horizontal orange band across the upper section. The wording “1872”, the year the club was founded, appears on the back of the socks.
The jersey features a Body Fit and is made primarily from Eco Armevo, while the sleeves, side panels and lower back section are developed in Eco Bodytex. Inserts in Eco Strong Mesh enhance lightness and breathability, helping to ensure comfort and freedom of movement during competitive play. As with all Game Sets developed by Macron, the new Edinburgh Rugby Home Kit also uses fabrics from the Eco Fabric range, made entirely from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic.
