130 years of history told through the symbols that have accompanied the club throughout its evolution. Founded in 1896, LOU Rugby celebrates this important anniversary with the new 2026/27 kits created with Macron, the French club’s technical partner since 2013. The Home kit is the first to be unveiled, interpreting LOU Rugby’s identity through a design that looks to the past and projects it into the present.
The new 2026/27 Home shirt features an entirely black look, with red details on the polo collar and sleeve cuffs, a colour combination that immediately reflects the club’s identity. No white on this shirt, for the first time, to be the reflection of the club’s colours only – red and black -, even for the main partners’ logos.
On the front, a tone-on-tone sublimated graphic traces the evolution of LOU Rugby through its historic logos, from its foundation to the present day. A sequence of crests and symbols forms a true visual timeline, transforming the shirt into a story of the club’s identity and its different eras. The Macron Hero, in red, is positioned at the centre of the chest, above the current LOU Rugby crest.
The inner backneck features a personalised black label displaying the club logo, the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, highlighting the creative and design process developed at the Macron Campus. On the outer backneck, a red sublimated print features the italicised wording Depuis 130 ans, (Since 130 years) a direct reference to the anniversary being celebrated by the club.
The kit is completed by black shorts with red details and black socks featuring a horizontal red stripe along the upper edge.
The Body Fit cut is designed to support athletes’ movement. As with every Macron partner club, the fabrics used are part of the Eco Fabric range, made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. The main Eco Armevo fabric, together with Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh inserts, provides lightness, durability and breathability, ensuring comfort and performance during sporting activity.
The new Home shirt is also available in a Replica version, designed to bring LOU Rugby’s identity beyond the pitch. Enhanced by a refined texture and lifestyle-inspired graphic elements, the design has been developed for supporters to wear as an expression of belonging, both inside and outside the stadium, as well as in everyday life.
