The strong connection with the Kop Stand at the Racecourse Ground continues to inspire the new Wrexham AFC Third Kit for the 2026/27 season, unveiled by the Welsh Club and Macron. The latest kit looks to the future of the famous Kop Stand, which is set to become one of the city’s most iconic architectural landmarks.
The new Wrexham AFC 2026/27 Third Kit comes in a soft cream shade and features a polo collar with black sleeve cuffs finished with a fine brick-red stripe. It is the distinctive red of the traditional Ruabon bricks, a symbol of Wrexham’s architectural heritage that has inspired the new Kop Stand, whose façade reimagines this deeply rooted material in a contemporary way. The shirt is enhanced by an all-over embossed graphic featuring a pattern inspired by the perforated surface of the new stand. Designed to create a striking interplay of light and transparency, the lattice motif becomes the kit’s defining visual element.
On the chest, the Macron Hero and the Club’s secondary mark, featuring the two stylised red dragons facing each other with a football between them, appear in brick red with a 3D thermoplastic application. The twin dragon mark is used in the new Kop design wrapped around one corner of the stand and also features across a more casual range of clothing. On the outside back of the collar, the Club’s foundation year, 1864, is printed within a graphic inspired by a brick wall.
At the lower back of the shirt, inside a brick-red band, a customised silicone tape features the message in English and Welsh: OUR GROUND, OUR SPIRIT – EIN TIR, EIN YSBRYD. The back neck, identical to those featured on the Home and Away versions, is personalised with a red label bearing the wording WREXHAM IS THE NAME, the Macron logo and the inscription Designed in Bologna, highlighting that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The kit is completed by cream shorts with black drawstrings and brick-red aglets. The same colour details are echoed on the side inserts and leg hems. The cream socks feature a black turnover with a fine horizontal brick-red stripe, while the Macron Hero appears on the front above the ankle and the number 1864 on the back.
The new Wrexham AFC Third Kit is made from Eco Softlock, Macron’s technical fabric that combines lightweight performance, softness to the touch and excellent tear resistance. The rear panel, made from Eco Baimi, enhances breathability, ensuring maximum comfort even during the most intense phases of play. Both fabrics are part of Macron’s Eco Fabric range, produced using 100% recycled polyester derived from post-consumer plastic.
