Real Sociedad, a perennial force in La Liga, and Macron, the technical partner of the historic Basque club, have unveiled the new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits that the Txuri-urdin will wear during the coming season. A blend of tradition and stylistic innovation featuring striking graphic designs.

The new ‘Home’ shirt features a knitted mandarin collar inspired by the 1990s. The shirt features classic white and blue vertical stripes formed by repeated ’brushstrokes‘. Within the blue, brush-style stripes, there is a graphic pattern formed by further brushstrokes in three different shades of blue, creating a sort of camouflage effect and adding depth to the shirt, as well as a distinct artistic touch. The stripes also appear on the lower back, whilst higher up the pattern of brushstrokes in various shades of blue is clearly visible. The back of the neck is personalised with the Real Sociedad logo, a background that echoes the shirt’s design, and the inscription ’REALAREN BIHOTZA’ (The Heart of Real). On the back, beneath the collar, the Ikurrina – the Basque flag – is applied in silicone. On the chest, on the right in white, is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo; on the left is the Real Sociedad crest, replicated in an embossed, tone-on-tone design beneath the crest itself. The shorts are white with side stripes that echo the blue brushstroke pattern featured on the shirt. The socks are white with a blue top edge and a series of horizontal stripes in varying shades of blue down the centre. The Macron Hero logo appears at ankle height, whilst the acronym ‘RS’ is featured on the calf.

The “Away” version is all black with a mandarin collar featuring white and blue trim, a detail also found on the sleeve hems and the slits at the bottom of the shirt. The back of the neck is, as on the home shirt, personalised with a blue brushstroke background and the words ‘REALAREN BIHOTZA’. The Ikurrina is featured as a silicone print on the back of the neck. The distinctive graphic feature of the shirt is the horizontal, optical, tone-on-tone and broken stripes, repeated across the entire front and on the sleeves. On the chest, both in blue and in silicone, the Macron Hero logo is on the right and the Real Sociedad crest on the left. The kit is completed by black shorts and black socks with two horizontal white and blue stripes along the top edge.

The jersey has a slim fit; the main fabric used is Softlock, and the micromesh inserts ensure the garment is lightweight and offers maximum breathability.
