Arminia Bielefeld, a long-established Bundesliga club, and Macron, a leading international brand in the teamwear sector and the German side’s kit supplier, have unveiled the new shirts that will be worn next season. In line with the “green” initiative launched by the Italian brand and embraced by the clubs that wear Macron, the new match kits convey a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment, thanks to the fabric used to make them: Eco-Softlock fabric, 100% polyester made from recycled plastic and certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

The new “Home” shirt has a V-neck with knitted trim. The front features three large vertical stripes: two blue ones at the sides and one black one in the centre. The sleeves are blue with white and black detailing on the cuffs. The back of the neck is personalised with a black label bearing the words ‘SPORTCLUB DER OSTWESTFALEN’. The back of the neck also features a logo linked to the history of the German city. On the right side of the chest, in silicone print, is the Macron Hero; on the left, over the heart, is the Arminia Bielefeld crest.

The ‘Away” version features an all-black design with a mandarin collar edged in blue knit fabric; the sleeve cuffs are also blue. The shirt features an embossed design comprising three tone-on-tone broken bands, echoing the design of the city’s coat of arms – a detail also found on the back of the collar. On the chest, in silicone, are the Macron Hero and the club logo.

The “Third” kit features a red body and maroon sleeves with white detailing, and has a mandarin collar. A distinctive feature of this match kit is the presence on the front of the three letters B I E (the latter positioned horizontally), which represent the logo of the city of Bielefeld and are rendered in embossed, tone-on-tone graphics. The shorts are red with white drawstrings, and the socks are red with a maroon top edge.

All the jumpers have a slim fit. The main fabric is Eco-Softlock, and the Eco Mesh inserts ensure the garment is as light and breathable as possible.
