The Cádiz CF revealed the new home shirt which the Andalusian club will wear during the 2023–24 season. A shirt inspired by the kits worn in the late 1980s, when Jorge Alberto González Barillas – known as Mágico González, a flamboyant Salvadoran footballer whose skills and talent were recognised even by Diego Armando Maradona. A player and a team who left an indelible mark on the hearts of Cádiz CF supporters, and who are commemorated in the design and details of the new home kit.   

The new Home Kit of Cádiz CF It is made from fabric Eco Fabric, underlining the shared commitment of the club and its technical sponsor to the environment and sustainability. As is traditional, the shirt is predominantly yellow, with a crew neck and light blue knitted sleeve cuffs finished with a fine gold stripe. On the shoulders there are two white stripes, a nod to the kits worn in the late 1980s, in this case produced using sublimation printing and edged in gold. The stripes culminate in a triangular apex that echoes the shape of the Macron Hero, repeated three times in light blue on both sides.

The jumper is embellished on both the front and the back with a embossed geometric pattern which creates a subtle tone-on-tone 3D effect. The inside of the back of the neck is customised with a background that echoes the colours and graphics of the shirt, featuring the club crest, the Macron logo and the text Designed in Bologna to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Macron Headquarters. On the chest, in light blue, the Macron the Hero flanked by the coat of arms of the Cádiz CF.

The kit is completed by the shorts, available in two versions: light blue with a yellow drawstring and white side stripes, or entirely yellow; in both cases, the Macron Hero logo is repeated three times in light blue, echoing the motif on the shoulders. Finally, the socks are available in a light blue version with a yellow band at the top, or in yellow with a light blue band.

The new ‘Home’ has a great fit Slim fit. The main fabric used is Eco Softlock and the inclusion of inserts made of Eco Mesh make the garment particularly lightweight and ensure excellent breathability.
