Macron, the Hero company, and Wisla Kraków, one of the most successful clubs in Polish football, have unveiled a ‘special edition’ shirt to celebrate the 115-year history of the “Biała Gwiazda” (White Star). A commemorative shirt for the club, founded in 1906 and named after the river that flows through the city of Kraków, the Vistula, or Wisla. Since then, Wisla Kraków’s honours list has grown to include 13 national titles, 4 Polish Cups, 1 Polish Super Cup and 1 Polish League Cup.

All these successes are celebrated on this ‘special edition’ shirt, which has a retro feel and is packed with details and symbols that tell the story and commemorate the victories of the “Biala Gwiazda”. Macron designed it in collaboration with the Polish club’s staff, creating a unique and exclusive garment.

The shirt features a gold-coloured polo collar with a drawstring fastening. There are also gold details on the sleeve hems. The back of the neck is personalised with the club’s colours and logo. On the front, in the centre, all the years in which Wisła Kraków won the Polish Championship are displayed in an embossed, tone-on-tone, vertical design. On the right side of the chest, embroidered in gold, is the Macron Hero, the Italian brand’s logo; on the left side, over the heart, in place of the traditional club crest, is a large white star surmounted by a smaller gold one.

The inner tape at the bottom of the shirt is personalised with the words ‘BIALA GWIAZDA’ in gold, repeated and interspersed with a star. Also on the front is a label with gold edging and lettering, bearing the inscription: EDYCJA LIMITOWANA 115 lat klubu Wisla Kraków 1906 – 2021 BIALA GWIAZDA.

On the back, just below the collar, the words ‘115 lat’ (115 years) are embossed in gold, whilst at the bottom, also in relief and in a tone-on-tone finish, are the numbers and images of the trophies won by Wisła Kraków in Poland.

It has a slim fit, the main fabric is Softlock, and the micromesh inserts ensure the garment is perfectly breathable.
