The unveiling of Club Deportivo Castellón’s new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits coincides exactly with the 100th anniversary of this club, which was founded on 20 July 1922. This significant milestone is celebrated on the new match kits through their design and attention to detail, alongside the colours of the flag of the Valencian Community, of which Castellón de la Plana forms part.

The new ‘Home’ shirt features a V-neck and the traditional black-and-white vertical stripes. The back of the neck is personalised with a black label bearing the two dates significant to the history of Club Deportivo Castellón – 1922–2022 – in gold lettering. Also on the collar is an inner tape bearing, in gold lettering, the repeated phrase ‘Castellón – En el escudo de tu historia Club Deportivo Castellón’. The same tape is also featured at the bottom of the shirt. On the right-hand side of the chest, the Macron Hero logo is embroidered in gold, whilst on the left is the club’s golden crest, with the two dates 1922–2022 beneath it. Gold embellishes the shirt in every detail, such as the word ‘Centenario’ embroidered on the back of the collar. The home kit is completed by white shorts with black drawstrings and white socks with a black top band.

The sense of belonging to the region that the team represents is fully ‘captured’ by the new ‘Away’ shirt, whose dominant motif is the colours of the Senyera Valenciana, a symbol of identity and belonging for every Valencian. The new ‘Away’ shirt has a crew neck with a dark green collar and shoulders. The main body of the shirt, both front and back, consists of four vertical red stripes on a yellow background, exactly as in the Senyera. The back of the neck is personalised, as in the home version, and a tape featuring the repeated phrase ‘Castellón – En el escudo de tu historia Club Deportivo Castellón’ is present both inside the collar and at the bottom of the shirt. On the back of the neck, the word ‘Centenario’ is embroidered in black. On the chest, the Macron Hero logo is embroidered in dark green, and on the left-hand side is a patch featuring the Club Deportivo Castellón crest, beneath which the two dates ‘1922 – 2022’ are embroidered. The shorts and socks are dark green.

Both jerseys have a slim fit; the main fabric used is Softlock, and the inclusion of micromesh inserts ensures that the garments are extremely lightweight and perfectly breathable.
