Where commitment becomes opportunity: Alessandro Bile’s journey at Macron

Alessandro Bile works at the Macron Sports Hub in Udine, as part of the Sales Team.

After joining Macron around a year ago, Alessandro began his journey through the Sales Academy, a training opportunity that allowed him to combine his passion for sport with professional growth.

“It wasn’t something I was actively looking for, but it came my way. While I was studying at university, I was – and still am – playing volleyball for my club, which wears Macron kits, and I was also involved in managing our sports equipment. I didn’t have a structured job yet. One evening, I came across an advertisement for the Sales Academy. I closed it, then came back to it. And I decided to apply.”

At first, his perception of the brand was different:

“I didn’t know Macron as such a large and structured company. Since I was already a customer through my team, I mainly saw it from a sporting perspective. Going through the selection process allowed me to discover a much broader world.”

The Academy challenge

The application started almost by chance, but his enthusiasm grew as the days went by.

“I was almost at the age limit for the programme. I thought: there will be really well-prepared candidates, maybe people who have already graduated. I waited for weeks before receiving the call. When they told me I had been selected, I was extremely happy.”

After class training in Bologna, Alessandro began his internship at the Macron Sports Hub in Udine, where he works today. It was a comprehensive experience, involving sales, the workshop, store management and a close connection with the local territory.

Commitment, results and recognition

“I spent six months as an intern and gave it my all. I really cared about it. I pushed myself, I believed in it, and the results followed.”

At the end of the internship, moving into an apprenticeship was confirmation that his commitment was recognised.

“If there’s one thing I’ve understood, it’s that you can’t stand still. There’s a strong focus on work and performance. The company expects a lot from you, but it also gives you a lot. Nothing comes by chance: if you want to achieve results, you have to put energy into it.”

Growing in a supportive environment

Alongside the professional dimension, Alessandro also highlights the human side of his experience.

“There’s a lot of support among colleagues. It’s not a cold relationship that exists only because of work. Sometimes we also meet outside working hours. This creates a different, more authentic atmosphere. Even in the most challenging moments, you feel like you’re part of a team working towards a common goal.”

Volleyball remains an important part of Alessandro’s life, and his team wears Macron.

“I’m trying to involve my club more and more as well, so that we can grow together with Macron. It’s great to be able to combine my passion for sport with my work and see tangible results both in sport and in my professional journey.”

Looking ahead with the same determination

One year after joining Macron, Alessandro looks to the future with the same energy that marked the beginning of his journey.

“What I’ve understood is that nothing comes by chance. If you work hard, believe in what you do and really put yourself out there, the results will come. There’s room to grow here, but it also depends on you.”

A journey that began almost by intuition has gradually become a conscious choice, built day after day through passion, team spirit and the desire to keep improving.
