From Volleyball to International Planning: Beatrice Tognetti’s Journey at Macron

Young culture, global challenges, and employee well-being: Beatrice Tognetti shares how team spirit at Macron drives professional growth without boundaries.

Some connections start long before a career does. For Beatrice Tognetti, hers with Macron began on the volleyball court. She grew up playing volleyball, wearing Macron gear long before she ever imagined becoming part of the company.

“I’ve been playing since I was little. My first knee pads were Macron. My uniform and accessories were sponsored too. It’s a brand I’ve always had with me.”

Years later, that connection naturally took a new direction. After joining Macron a year ago, Beatrice turned a long-standing connection with the brand into a professional journey, bringing together her passion for sport and her experience in an international working environment.

A natural start in a young environment

She already had experience in a company operating in the same industry, but from her very first day at Macron, she noticed something different.

“What made me feel comfortable straight away was having a young manager and a young team. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions. And that’s not something you can take for granted.”

An open, direct and human atmosphere. An environment where exchanging ideas comes naturally, and where relationships have a direct impact on the quality of everyday work.
“I immediately saw an approach that I liked and that made me feel comfortable. And from there, everything just fell into place.”

Production Planner: planning and an international culture

Today, Beatrice works as a Production Planner within the Production Planning department. She is responsible for production planning and interacts daily with suppliers in China.

“The emails I receive and send are mainly with an international network of suppliers. It’s not just about speaking English: it’s about managing operations, finding the right words and understanding each other across completely different cultures.”

A continuous challenge, both linguistic and organisational. Coordinating production activities with international partners requires precision, adaptability and strong mediation skills.
“It’s extremely rewarding. It challenges you every day.”

Structure, benefits and opportunities

Beatrice also highlights the value of the physical working environment and the services offered: a modern facility, continuously expanding spaces, a company gym and an on-site restaurant.

“It’s not just about the work itself. It’s the whole environment. The fact that the company keeps expanding and continues to invest in new facilities and new spaces.”

Company events are another plus: opportunities to experience something different and enjoy activities that are not always part of everyday working life.

Growing together with the company

When asked what motivates her most on a daily basis, the answer is clear: growth. “It’s a company that is constantly evolving. And the more projects there are, the more opportunities you have to be part of them.”

For Beatrice, the company’s growth goes hand in hand with personal growth. New projects, new challenges, new opportunities.
“If the company grows, you can dream big too. You think: I can grow too.”

Team Spirit and a shared vision

There is one element that sums up her experience: team spirit.
A value reflected in everyday work, collaboration between departments and the sharing of common goals.

From the volleyball she played as a child to international production planning, Beatrice’s journey represents a natural evolution: a passion for sport transformed into responsibility, expertise and a global perspective.
A journey built within a young, dynamic and constantly expanding company, where growing together is not just a goal, but a clear direction.
