Growing through sport, guided by the values you believe in: Arianna Monari’s journey at Macron

From a passion for sport to the responsibility of a new role: Arianna shares her decision to grow at Macron, embracing new challenges, team spirit and a strong sense of belonging.
August 19, 2026

Arianna Monari joined Macron on 16 October 2023, after studying Sports Science and gaining experience as a gym manager. Sport has always been her natural environment, but she was looking for a new challenge: an opportunity to grow, challenge herself in a larger organisation, and stay close to what she is truly passionate about.

“I felt I had reached a point where I was in my previous environment. I was looking for a path of personal and professional growth. I wanted to take on something more structured while staying in the world of sport, which is fundamental to me.”

A conscious choice

Applying to Macron was not a random decision.

“I chose Macron consciously because I identified with its values: respect for the environment, a focus on quality and attention to the technical products created for athletes.”

During the interviews, one particular phrase stood out to her: at Macron, hard work is recognised without having to ask for it. The idea stayed with her and, over time, she found it reflected in her everyday experience.

Responsibility, listening and team spirit

Today, Arianna is Retail Manager at the Macron Sports Hub in Bologna, where she is responsible for direct sales to consumers as well as to sports clubs. It is a role that comes with responsibility, which she has embraced from the very beginning with trust and continuous support.

“Difficulties are part of any job. But what I notice is the willingness to listen. Even during the most challenging moments, I have always felt welcomed. There is a real team effort when it comes to finding solutions.”

It is an approach that reminds her of the sporting mindset: problems exist, but they are tackled together.

Events, training and a sense of belonging

One of the things Arianna appreciates most is being actively involved in company initiatives: sporting events, special projects, training programmes and English courses.

“It’s not something you can take for granted, feeling that you are part of something. Here, there are real opportunities to grow, learn and get involved.”

Shared moments outside work have also strengthened her sense of belonging, from spontaneous beach volleyball and basketball groups formed among colleagues to the collaboration between the headquarters and the Macron Sports Hub.

One particular experience has stayed with her: during the Christmas period, several people from the headquarters supported the Macron Sports Hub in Bologna by working alongside the retail team, demonstrating team spirit and collaboration.

“It was wonderful. They gave up their own time to help us, with real enthusiasm. It’s not something you take for granted. It makes you feel like you are more than colleagues, almost like a family.”

More than a job

For Arianna, working at Macron means experiencing the sporting energy that has always been part of her life: genuine relationships, seeing the people behind the emails, and real collaboration.

“As someone who has always been involved in sport, I find here an environment that makes everything feel more welcoming. It’s not just a job opportunity: it’s an opportunity to grow, meet people and build relationships.”

A choice she made with conviction, and one she continues to embrace with enthusiasm every day.
