Bologna, May 6, 2026 – The new episode of Campus Talks, the Macron podcast, is available on digital platforms starting today.
This episode features Bologna FC 1909 captain Lorenzo De Silvestri. In conversation with Angelo Marino, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Macron, and Carlton Myers, former basketball player and Olympic flag bearer, De Silvestri reflects on his evolution: from the most difficult moments marked by injuries and time on the bench, to the discovery of a new mental awareness, and finally to the leadership role required to shape Bologna’s most successful seasons.
Throughout the episode, the Rossoblù defender also speaks about his leadership role within the dressing room and his bond with the city of Bologna, where he is known as “Il Sindaco” (“The Mayor”). It is a journey that blends sport, resilience, and curiosity, leading him to explore life beyond the boundaries of the pitch.
Campus Talks was created with the idea of using sport as a starting point to meet people and discover stories worth telling. The editorial direction and technical production of the podcast are handled by the Macron Media House, an in-house structure dedicated to content development and to supporting the brand’s communication and positioning. Episodes are recorded in the internal podcast studio at the Macron Campus, the company headquarters in the province of Bologna, which inspired the name of the project.
The episode featuring Lorenzo De Silvestri is available on Macron’s YouTube channel and on major audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music.
Previous guests on Campus Talks include: Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron; Elisabetta Canalis; Alino Diamanti; Nicola Rizzoli; Alessandra Neri; and Gonzalo Quesada.
