The Macron Summer Camp, the summer camp for the children of Macron employees, fully funded by the company, which has transformed the summer months for over 40 children and young people into an experience centred on sport, personal development and sharing. The project stems from Macron’s desire to support the families of its staff by offering them a practical support in balancing work and family life, whilst reaffirming the values of community and wellbeing that have always characterised the culture of the Bologna-based brand

During the summer camp, organised in collaboration with the Sports Initiation Department of the CUSB (Bologna University Sports Centre) Thanks to this organisation, with which Macron has been a partner for years, the children were able to enjoy days packed with activities, including creative workshops, outdoor games and educational sessions designed to stimulate curiosity, collaboration and team spirit. A unique opportunity to have fun, make new friends and discover, through play, important values such as respect and sharing. The enthusiasm of the young participants and the numerous positive comments received from families bear witness to the success of the initiative, made possible thanks to the passion and professionalism of qualified sports and education graduates who guided the children throughout this programme.

The organisation and success of the Macron Summer Camp reaffirm Macron’s commitment to creating a working environment that goes beyond the well-being of individual employees to encompass their families as well, thereby strengthening the sense of belonging and community.

The initiative forms part of a structured welfare programme designed to put people at the centre through a wide range of benefits. These include an on-site canteen and two fully-equipped gyms available free of charge, charging points in the company car park, and numerous out-of-work activities such as access to sporting events, family initiatives and team-building activities. In addition, there are allowances for parenting, training and leisure, flexible working hours and the option of part-time work for working mothers, as well as services dedicated to health, gender equality and sustainability.
