The latest episode of Campus Talks, Macron’s podcast, is available from today on digital platforms.
The guest of this episode is Ailama Cesé, the Cuban-born volleyball player who has been one of the standout performers for Volley Bergamo 1991 over the past two seasons. In a conversation with Angelo Marino, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Macron, and Carlton Myers, former basketball player and Olympic flag bearer, she reflects on a sporting journey shaped by different continents, challenges and new beginnings.
From her early days in volleyball in Cuba to her move to Russia at just 18 years old, Cesé reflects on a journey shaped by different cultures, lifestyles and approaches to professional sport. A truly international path that, after experiences in several countries, eventually brought her to Italy, where she found a new balance and a strong sense of belonging. The conversation explores the importance of adaptability and the ability to embrace change as an opportunity for growth, as well as the value of team spirit: the combination of trust, shared energy and collective responsibility that lies at the heart of volleyball and represents one of sport’s most authentic values.
Campus Talks was created from the idea of using sport as a starting point to meet people and discover stories worth telling. The editorial direction and technical production of the podcast are managed by the Macron Media House, the company’s in-house structure dedicated to content development and to supporting the brand’s communication and positioning. Episodes are recorded in the podcast studio inside the Macron Campus, the company headquarters near Bologna, which inspired the name of the project.
The episode featuring Ailama Cesé is available on Macron’s YouTube channel and on the main audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music.
Previous guests on Campus Talks include: Gianluca Pavanello, CEO di Macron; Elisabetta Canalis; Alino Diamanti; Nicola Rizzoli; Alessandra Neri; Gonzalo Quesada; Lorenzo De Silvestri; Justin Pugh; and Fabio Merlino;
