The latest episode of Campus Talks, Macron’s original podcast series, is now available across digital platforms. The series starts from sport as a way to meet people and discover stories that deserve to be told.

The new episode features Dario Costa, an aerobatic pilot and flight instructor, the first Italian to qualify for the Red Bull Air Race and the man behind a number of achievements that have brought aerobatic flying into unprecedented settings. In conversation with Angelo Marino, Macron’s Chief Brand & Communications Officer, and Carlton Myers, former basketball player and Olympic flag bearer, Costa looks back on the stages of a journey shaped by passion, hard work, preparation and a constant drive to push boundaries.

Born in Manchester and raised between Bologna and various experiences in Africa, Dario Costa begins by talking about his connection with the city where he grew up. From there, he traces the story of a passion for flying that started at an early age and was gradually transformed into a career through a far from linear path: from his first jobs as a gardener and postman to the world’s leading international competitions.

The conversation also explores his relationship with fear and the preparation required to take on challenges where every detail can make the difference. From qualifying for the Red Bull Air Race to the many “firsts” of his career – from flying through a tunnel to flying alongside a diver, between boats or above a moving train – Costa explains what it means to turn an idea that may initially seem impossible into a concrete project, through planning, precision and the ability to work in close coordination with many other people.

Because behind a flight that may appear to be an individual experience, there is in fact a team. Technicians, professionals and trusted colleagues are involved at every stage of the most complex projects, contributing to their preparation and to the management of situations where mutual trust becomes essential.

The editorial development and technical production of Campus Talks are handled by the Macron Media House, the company’s in-house structure dedicated to content development and supporting the brand’s communication and positioning. Episodes are recorded in the podcast studio at the Macron Campus, the company’s headquarters in the province of Bologna, which inspired the name of the project.

The episode featuring Dario Costa is available on Macron’s YouTube channel and on the main audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music.

Previous Campus Talks episodes have featured Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron; Elisabetta Canalis; Alino Diamanti; Nicola Rizzoli; Alessandra Neri; Gonzalo Quesada; Lorenzo De Silvestri; Justin Pugh; Fabio Merlino; Ailama Cesé; and Michael Williamson.
