For a few months, the A.S.D. Zola Predosa has celebrated 20 years of history. A journey that began on March 16, 2001, when 35 members were registered in the company records; today, this journey continues steadily and continuously thanks to the more than 400 members among the youth sector, juniors and first team. A reality that was created to fill the gap in youth football in the Bolognese municipality and that has always placed the growth – both football and educational – of every young athlete who joined Zola Predosa football as its priority.

The success of a club is often not measured by a single result, but by the quality of a project. A winning project is definitely the National Tournament “G. Venturi”, which Zola Calcio organizes every year and which sees the participation of many professional clubs from all over Italy, including Juventus, Inter, Roma, Atalanta, Bologna, Empoli and Sassuolo. This three-day event allows the amateur clubs of the Bologna region to share an important opportunity for networking and experience, while competing against first-class professional clubs.

20 years of history and passionate work have led Zola Calcio to become, today, one of the most important and structured entities in the regional amateur scene. This recognition and responsibility are the foundation of the company’s programming regarding the youth sector, with the primary goal of offering the best service to its athletes and ensuring a consistent growth path over the years. In the future, the perspective and hope are to see more and more athletes raised in the youth academy being selected by professional clubs and debuting, one day, in a first-division championship.
