SPORT AS A KEY TO CHANGE

Creating a model that turns sport into a lever for society’s transition to a new normal, where inclusion means that those who are most vulnerable no longer feel that way when they step onto the field. This is the spirit with which Yousport was founded in July 2020, a sports and social promotion association to support those who need an athletic experience to improve their starting position. Because sport is a vehicle of dignity, belonging, and fun.

A MULTI-ETHNIC TEAM

Training sessions begin with courses to learn the rules and the game of football. The training sessions are attended by groups of people who then become a team and are characterized by multi-ethnicity with an obligatory presence of a third of Italians. Male and female adult teams, as well as teams dedicated to the age groups between 10 and 14 years old. The YouSport FC, which competes in the Open CSI league, is the most global team in Italy with the presence, alongside the Italian players, of boys from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Mali, Egypt, Pakistan, Senegal, Morocco.

BECOMING A REPEATABLE EXAMPLE

The present of the Yousport project lies in the professionalism of the staff, coaches and athletic trainers, the care of nutritionists and sports psychologists, the total gratuitousness, the beauty of the fields, the materials, the uniforms, the financial and technical support of passionate sponsors. All these ingredients allow us to create a community where sport becomes a vector of change. In the future, the goal is to create a polysports center that is a physical space, beautiful and sustainable, that is a place of integration, mixing, and “normality of diversity” that is met in a place where people play sports, each as they can and want to.

A T-SHIRT A SOURCE OF PRIDE

The answer to what it means to wear a Yousport jersey is given by the boys and girls who proudly share their moments on the playing field with the Macron jerseys, through that type of communication that today makes everyone more connected, erasing distances. Showing the world that these boys have found a reality they can call home is a great source of pride for YouSport, which is succeeding in its goal of inspiring social change through sport.
