Macron is Concacaf’s new “Sport Equipment and Apparel Partner”, extending the agreement on refereeing to a partnership that will include clothing for employees, staff and volunteers of the governing body of football in North and Central America and the Caribbean.

The partnership between Macron e CONCACAF is being strengthened and expanded: following the agreement signed last March, which sees the Italian brand acting as “Match Officials Kit Supplier” for CONCACAF’s refereeing division for the next six seasons, a further agreement has been announced today to supply a bespoke clothing range for employees, staff and volunteers of the organisation that governs football in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

The agreement, which covers all men’s, women’s, Under-20 and Under-17 teams, as well as Concacaf club competitions, is Macron’s first partnership at confederation level with a FIFA confederation and will provide the brand with significant visibility across the Concacaf region at a time when the sport is expected to experience tremendous growth.

CONCACAF will, in fact, be at the centre of a series of events taking place in 2024 and 2025, including the 2025 men’s CONCACAF Champions Cup, which features the best teams from the MLS, Liga MX and clubs from Central America and the Caribbean, the new 2024/25 CONCACAF W Champions Cup for women, which will feature thrilling rivalries between the NWSL and Liga MX Femenil and highlight the growth of clubs from Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica, and next summer’s men’s Concacaf Gold Cup, which will be hosted in the United States and Canada and will be the final official tournament for the region’s men’s national teams ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Gold Cup is Concacaf’s flagship tournament and will be hosted across 14 cities next summer, including five host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The announcement was made during a visit to the Macron Campus by Victor Montagliani, president of CONCACAF and vice-president of FIFA. Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron and host, and Montagliani, spoke about the partnership and their shared commitment to supporting the already significant growth of football in North America, which will receive a further boost from the new 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, to be hosted next summer in the United States, and above all from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, an edition in which the United States, Canada and Mexico are involved as organisers.

“Victor Montagliani’s visit to and presence at the Macron Campus – he said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron – enables us to, as well as announcing the strengthening of our existing prestigious partnership, to proudly showcase the place where our projects are conceived, nurtured and developed, and all the dedication and passion we put into our work. We have also taken these values beyond Italy and Europe, and this enables us to establish an ever-stronger presence in the United States and North America, with high-quality technical garments and clothing ranges featuring elegant and exclusive designs. One of our objectives is precisely to consolidate and expand our presence in the North American market, and agreements such as the one with CONCACAF are a sign that we are heading in the right direction.”

The president of CONCACAF and vice-president of FIFA, Victor Montagliani: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with Macron, a company and brand increasingly recognised for their high quality and their growing and impressive reach in international sport. Our agreement covers all CONCACAF competitions for national teams and clubs for many years to come, at a crucial time for the growth of this confederation and of football in our wonderful region. I must also thank Macron for the tremendous support it will provide to our CONCACAF referees as part of this important new partnership.”.
