A FORMATIVE REVOLUTION

Ten years ago in Fairfield (Connecticut – USA) a football academy was founded with the aim of offering an integrated, complete sports education system aimed at ‘developing excellent footballers and footballers’. Today, Revolution United represents an important reference point for the world of football in the northeastern United States. In the middle, the enormous work of a highly qualified technical and management staff, including Fabian Cano, club president and head coach, has given a strong boost to the study program and, in a short time, has tripled the number of teams linked to this project.

MISSION: FULL-TIME PLAYERS AND PLAYERS

Being a good footballer or soccer player inevitably also involves personal and human growth. For this reason, the path offered in Revolution United FC aims to develop both technical skills and team spirit, sportsmanship, respect, and self-esteem: ingredients that allow you to ‘build’ first a young athlete, then a footballer and a successful person. Fabian Cano and his staff work every day to create competitive teams in the broadest sense of the word: the goal is to provide the academy’s players and coaches with all the tools necessary to reach their full potential, essential for achieving their goals.

THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE WITH EUROPEAN FOOTBALL

One of the most valuable experiences that the athletes of Revolution United FC can benefit from is the opportunity to be scouted by European professional teams. RUFC has initiated a partnership with several teams from the Spanish League, thus giving the opportunity for American athletes to train with the youth departments of some of the major clubs on the Iberian Peninsula. In February 2022, for example, a trip to Madrid is scheduled where several RUFC players will be able to train for a week under the guidance of some Liga technicians.

The sense of community is a very important aspect in the way the sport is practiced at Revolution United FC and represents the same way of thinking as Macron.
