Macron and Club Deportivo Castellón, a Spanish club that plays in the Primera RFEF league, have announced a technical sponsorship agreement that will link the Italian company to the ‘albinegra’ team for the next 4 seasons.
Starting with the 2021-2022 season, the Macron Hero will appear on the shirts of the club founded in 1922 and which has several appearances in the Liga, as well as a final of the Copa del Rey in 1973 lost against Athletic Bilbao. In the early years of its existence, the shirt was striped in green (the colors of the fields), orange (the color of the fruits) and blue (the color of the sea), a difficult and expensive mixture to obtain that led to the decision to wear a white jersey. In 1925, due to the rivalry with Valencia, which had the same jersey, Castellón decided to add black vertical bands, giving rise to the current social colors.
History, tradition, and civic symbols will be the basis of the new race kits that Macron’s style office and the Castellón staff have studied and developed together to create an exclusive collection that is one of the strengths of Macron’s production, along with the technicality of the materials, the design, and the attention to detail.
