The Sale Sharks, a British club that competes in the Gallagher Premiership, the top English rugby club league, joins Macron’s large rugby family. The team from Sale (a city in Greater Manchester) and the Italian company have announced a six-year technical sponsorship agreement starting from the 2021-2022 season, as well as a retail partnership both online and at the AJ Bell Stadium store. Macron will supply the technical apparel for the first team, A-Team, Senior and Junior Academy, the youth sector and women’s team, and plans a customized store redesign and a new online platform for the retail part.

Founded in 1861, the white-blue team can boast a title of England Champions in 2006, as well as two successes in the European Challenge Cup (2002 and 2005), and the hope of adding to their record this season. Thanks to fifth place in the Gallagher Premiership last year, they have earned the right to participate in the Heineken Champions Cup 2020-2021.
