Macron further enriches his presence in English football by announcing a new technical partnership with Southend United, a professional club based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
With 115 years of football history behind them, the “Shrimpers” compete today in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. The multi-year partnership will see the Italian company produce the Blues’ playing and training jerseys.
Southend’s Managing Director, Tom Lawrence, said: “Macron has an excellent reputation for quality, style and reliability and we are delighted to announce him as our new technical partner. Macron is a significant player in the technical supplier market and has partnerships with prestigious clubs across Europe. It is fantastic to join such an impressive portfolio.”.
Andy Dyer, Area Manager of Macron, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Southend United to the growing community of English clubs that have chosen the style and design of Macron. Sharing the history and symbols of a team with more than 100 years of history is a source of motivation for us, to produce a collection that does justice to the identity of the Club and its fans. We look forward to seeing the players wear the Macron Hero in a crucial season for the Club, looking to achieve a new promotion in the Football League.”.
