“Legendary” is perhaps the most appropriate term to describe the performances of the next finalists of the 105th edition of the French Cup. The historic match that will take place on May 8 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis will indeed be a derby between ‘Macron Heroes’: FC Nantes e OGC Nice.
Both clubs already have three French Cups on their walls. FC Nantes lifted the coveted national trophy in 1979, 1999 and 2000, while OGC Nice won the final in 1952, 1954 and 1997. To reach this eagerly awaited final at the Stade de France under Macron’s banner, FC Nantes eliminated Brest in the first round and semi-finals, then Bastia and finally Monaco. OGC Nice, on its journey, defeated Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Marseille and Versailles.
A Macron derby between Les Canaries and Les Aiglons: two clubs that represent the history of French football and which Macron has accompanied as technical partner for several seasons. The Hero Company is extremely proud to be by the side of both clubs in this prestigious event. In a stadium that will be colored in yellow-and-green and red-and-blue, these teams will write an indelible page in French football and Macron’s sporting history.
