Macron, the Hero company, and Bologna FC 1909 celebrate the 20th anniversary of a partnership that can be considered one of the longest-standing in the Italian and international football scene. A relationship that began in 2001 and for Macron represented the entry into professional football; a moment in which a journey began that led the Italian brand to become, today, an international leader in the field of teamwear.

To celebrate this special anniversary, Macron has created “20 Years Together”: an emotional video that unfolds through the voices of the protagonists who, from the Dall’Ara lawn to the offices of Macron’s headquarters, work to give shape and life to the Bologna jersey. A documentary film that combines the historical, descriptive, and technical elements: archival and current images of Macron and Bologna FC 1909 revisited through the testimonies of those who designed and designed some of the most significant jerseys of the last 20 years, as well as those who wore them and those who, every day, take care of them, fold them, and prepare them for the players. An exceptional narrator is Luca Carboni, a fan who has the rossoblù and the Bologna jersey in his heart.

An emotional journey that Macron’s top management was able to share in advance in the Dream Room of the new headquarters, in Valsamoggia, with the directors of Bologna FC 1909 – including Claudio Fenucci, Riccardo Bigon and Cristoph Winterling – and the entire first team led by Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Among the guests at the event were Federico Monti, author of the book ‘La maglia del Bologna’, and Matteo Campagna, the historic warehouse manager of Bologna FC, both involved in the production of the video.

“20 Years Together” celebrates a bond that transcends the professional aspect and that over these years has always expressed the strong relationship between Macron, the Italian club and the territory they both represent. Twenty years of ideas, design, colors and technologies that tell a piece of Macron’s history, the Hero company, and Bologna, the ‘the squad that makes the world tremble’.
