With one month to go until the official start of the new competitive season, MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg, a leading German basketball club consistently among the top teams in the easy Credit Basketball Bundesliga, has unveiled the new race kits which the German club will wear in the league from their opening match on 29 September against Hamburg. MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg will also be competing in the Basketball Champions League, where their first scheduled match will be against another club that wears Macron kit, AEK Athens.

The new kits for the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg They retain the traditional black and yellow colours, the club’s iconic colours, combined – as was the case last season – with a strong message of sustainability and respect for the environment. The shirts are manufactured by Macron in Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic.

The new ‘Home’ è yellow with a black and white top edge to the neckline, the same colour combination appearing on the sleeves and the side panels at the hips. The back of the neck is personalised with the club’s colours and logo, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron’s headquarters. The distinctive graphic feature of the new shirt is the pairs of fine vertical stripes – in a slightly deeper shade of yellow – appearing on both the front and back; these are created by small diagonal lines and produce a dynamic and very elegant effect. The same design feature appears on the yellow shorts, which have a black thigh band with a thin white stripe.

The version ‘Away’ è black with a collar featuring yellow trim at the top. A yellow stripe also runs along the sleeves and sides. The design of the ‘away’ shirt is identical to the home shirt, featuring double vertical stripes composed of fine diagonal lines that stand out in a dark grey shade. The back of the neck is personalised with a two-tone black and yellow label, the MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg logo and the Macron logo. The hashtag #IHRUNDWIR is printed in yellow on the back of the neck. The black shorts feature the same design as the shirt and have a thin yellow stripe along the thigh seam.
