The Paseo Marítimo along Playa Malvarrosa, the best-known and most famous of Valencia’s many beaches, takes centre stage in the new home and away shirts of the Levante UD, the oldest club in the Spanish city. The pattern on the paving along the beach is, in fact, the design feature that characterises the new match kits worn by the ‘Granotas’ will be wearing next season.

The strong bond with the city and its iconic landmarks is combined with the strength of tradition and the colours that have always characterised the Valencian club. Equally important is the message of sustainability and respect for the environment that these shirts represent, thanks to the shared commitment between the club and its kit supplier. The new ‘Home Kit’The Levante’s squad for the 2023–24 season features the traditional vertical azul-grana stripes (navy blue and maroon). The collar is a polo-style collar with a three-button fastening, and the edge features a thin yellow stripe – a colour which, paired with maroon, also appears on the sleeve edges. The back of the neck is personalised with the club’s colours and logo, the Macron logo and the lettering Designed in Bologna, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the’Macron Headquarters. The distinctive graphic feature of the shirt is the all-over, tone-on-tone sublimation print – on both the front and back – of the diamond-patterned paving of the Paseo Marítimo at Playa Malvarrosa. At the bottom of the shirt there is an internal silicone tape personalised with the motto, repeated and interspersed with the club’s logo, Always in my heart (one of the lines from the anthem for the Coronation of the Virgen de los Desemparados, the design theme for Levante’s new third kit). On the chest, on the right and in white, the Macron the Hero, with the club crest on the left. The shorts are navy blue with yellow drawstrings and a maroon top edge. The navy blue socks, with a maroon top edge, feature one of the white diamonds that make up the shirt’s design on the calf. The fabric used for the shirt is Eco Softlock with inserts in Eco Mesh.

The ‘ version‘Away Kit’It is white with three vertical navy blue stripes, one in the centre and the other two on the sides. The collar is V-shaped with a knitted trim, and there is an azul-grana square both on the inside and on the outside at the back. The back of the neck is personalised in the same way as the Home shirt, and there is a silicone tape at the bottom of the shirt bearing the motto Always in my heart. The sublimation print featuring the diamond pattern of the paving along Playa Malvarrosa is also present in this version, but only within the navy blue vertical stripes. On the chest, the Macron Hero logo appears in blue alongside the Levante UD crest. The white shorts feature navy blue side stripes, whilst the white socks have a navy blue top stripe and a central stripe. The fabric used for the away shirt is Eco Piola, again with inserts in Eco Mesh which ensure excellent breathability.
