I Glasgow Warriors, whilst awaiting the start of the new competitive season, they presented the new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits’ which the Scottish XV will wear in both United Rugby Championship and Heineken Champions Cup matches. These kits celebrate the tradition and colours of the Glasgow Warriors, and pay tribute to the many clubs affiliated with the Scottish club. Tradition and a sense of belonging, but also a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment: the new jerseys are in fact made from Macron in Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric made from recycled plastic.

The new ‘Home Kit’ is predominantly black, with a V-neck and light blue detailing on the sleeve hems. The back of the neck is personalised with a black and tartan label, the Glasgow Warriors logo and the Macron logo, accompanied by the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Bologna headquarters for the Italian brand. Also inside the collar is a personalised sweatband featuring the club’s motto ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’. The tartan pattern is the distinctive graphic feature of the new home kit. The traditional design of wool fabrics from the Scottish Highlands is featured in a sublimation print with a slightly shaded effect on the sleeves, combining black, light blue and white. On the chest, on the right and in light blue, the Macron the Hero, on the left, on the heart side, the coat of arms of the Glasgow Rangers. The black shorts feature a tartan graphic pattern on the sides, whilst the black socks have a light blue horizontal stripe along the top edge.

The ‘ version‘Away Kit’It is blue on the main body. The white sleeves have a light blue trim with a thin red stripe. The polo collar is light blue with red detailing. The back of the neck is personalised as on the home shirt, as is the tape bearing the motto ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’ written in black on a light blue background. The distinctive graphic detail of the shirt is the sublimation print on the sides and at the bottom of the back, featuring the names – in a tone-on-tone design – of the clubs affiliated with Glasgow Rangers. The same list, also in sublimation print, appears on the sides of the shorts, which are entirely light blue apart from the white waistband. The socks are white with two central bands and a light blue top band, the latter featuring a horizontal red stripe.

The fit is Body Fit, the main fabric used is Eco-Armevo and the presence of ‘i’ inserts in Eco-Boditex e Eco-Strong Mesh, ensuring high performance and durability, as well as lightness and excellent breathability.
