Technological performance meets innovative style: this is the foundation behind Macron’s new Eco 3D Knit jacquard fabrics, high-performance canvases on which, starting from the 2026/27 football season, a wide range of match kits will take shape, bespoke creations developed by the Macron Style Centre for the brand’s partner clubs.
The jacquard weaving technique used to produce Weave, Laser and Matrix – the three new fabrics – involves developing a design or pattern directly within the yarn construction. This process gives the material a distinctive 3D effect, significantly enhancing both its tactile and visual impact.
These three new solutions are the result of extensive work by the research and development department. Engineered to deliver high-level performance, they share a structured and distinctive aesthetic, along with a strong commitment to sustainability, as all three are made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester.
With this launch, Macron further confirms its commitment to combining Italian design, quality and innovation with functionality. In the new 2026/27 match kits, these elements will translate into high performance, maximum comfort and an immediately recognisable style, thanks also to the possibility of garment customisation through sublimation printing, which allows colours and designs to be applied to the fabric with an exceptionally high level of definition.
Match kits made using the new Eco 3D Knit jacquard fabrics will be available for purchase exclusively in the Authentic version, a hallmark of the brand’s philosophy, which has always offered fans and enthusiasts the opportunity to wear exactly the same shirts used on the pitch by players.

Eco 3D Knit – Weave
A technical jacquard fabric made from 100% recycled polyester, characterised by a geometric pattern with an interrupted diagonal development that creates a bold and structured visual effect. Its tighter and more compact knit provides dimensional stability and durability, while maintaining effective moisture management. Ideal for high-intensity sports garments where performance and visual impact are seamlessly combined.
Eco 3D Knit – Laser
A technical jacquard inspired by the structure of laser-cut meshes and developed through a combination of three different yarn interlacings. This hybrid construction enables targeted performance distribution: enhanced resistance along broken lines, elasticity in flat-knit areas, and strategically placed open zones to improve breathability. The result is an engineered fabric designed for advanced sportswear, made from 100% recycled polyester.
Eco 3D Knit – Matrix
A technical jacquard fabric, also made from 100% recycled polyester, designed to ensure high performance. Its warp-knit construction, featuring an offset rib pattern, provides excellent durability and natural mechanical elasticity. The three-dimensional structure also enhances breathability, making it ideal for dynamic garments that require comfort, durability and a distinctive aesthetic.
