Macron will be attending Pitti Uomo 2024, the world’s leading men’s fashion event, taking place from 11 to 14 June in Florence. The Bologna-based company will present a new high-end collection called Macron Clubhouse, which interprets the concept of beyond performance, in other words, garments with a functional design, made from high-quality, innovative, high-performance materials which, whilst drawing inspiration from the world of sport, can be worn and used in everyday life.

Clubhouse It is the place where sports enthusiasts come together to celebrate the moments and emotions of sport and to share its values. It is a place from which one carries the ability to embody these sporting values in one’s everyday actions and commitments, and where the clothing stands out for its Italian design, high quality, refined details, and technical and stylistic innovation. In this sense, padel serves as the perfect bridge, bringing together fun and competition, sport and leisure, technical excellence in materials and style.

Sport, performance and the dynamism of racket sports remain the key elements on which the design of the new ranges has been centred, with the men’s range also embracing styles more associated with fitness training and the women’s range focusing on yoga and holistic disciplines. In both cases, however, the collections are designed to move beyond purely sporting activities and to blur the lines between on and off the court. These are garments that can therefore be worn in everyday life, allowing the wearer to feel elegant whilst remaining comfortable and at ease in any situation.

“Macron Clubhouse is a key project for us, created with the aim of further enhancing our brand’s image, whilst also showcasing off the pitch the technical expertise, sophistication and ‘Designed in Bologna’ style that characterise Macron – he declared Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron – Presenting it at an event such as Pitti Uomo 2024 represents a genuine statement of intent for us: sport and fashion today are two interconnected worlds in so many respects, and Macron Clubhouse fits perfectly into this context. With this project, the aim is to ensure the steady growth that has always characterised our company, complementing our two main business streams – Teamwear and Merchandising – with an ever-increasing focus on the consumer segment. This does not mean compromising our DNA, which is and will remain rooted in sporting performance, but rather an expansion of our scope. With Macron Clubhouse, performance moves off the pitch and into everyday life, and this certainly represents a great opportunity for us”.

Technical and stylistic excellence, combined with the ability to fully understand the needs of sportspeople, have enabled Macron to become the European leader in the manufacture and sale of active sportswear. The company is growing steadily, with a turnover of 196 million euros recorded in 2023, representing a significant increase of 15 per cent compared with the previous year. Macron’s leading market remains the United Kingdom, followed by Italy and Spain, but growth has been broadly consistent across all the countries in which the brand operates. This confirms the company’s international vision and multi-country strategy, with over 80 per cent of turnover generated outside Italy.

Macron boasts a prestigious portfolio of top clubs – over 90 worldwide – and football associations that wear its kit. For the past four years, Macron has been a UEFA partner and has provided kit for referees in all European competitions, including the upcoming European Football Championship in Germany, where, in addition to the match officials, two Macron national teams – Albania and Georgia – will also be on the pitch. Macron truly leads the way in the world of rugby, where the Macron Hero logo stands out on the shirts of Europe’s leading national teams and clubs. At last year’s Rugby World Cup in France, seven out of a total of 20 nations were kitted out by Macron, whilst in the Six Nations, three national teams feature the Macron Hero logo on their shirts: Italy, Scotland and Wales.

For Macron, 2024 means investing in quality to achieve further growth as a company. 25 million euros have been invested in the Macron Campus project, which involves the construction of two new buildings in an area adjacent to the company’s current headquarters. A multifunctional area, with spaces designated for offices and showrooms, sports fields for testing materials, and areas for production, storage and the dispatch of finished products. A dedicated hub designed to make the spaces for employees and the company’s development even more functional and cutting-edge.

The new ‘Clubhouse’ clothing range is the tangible expression of a shared commitment to always striving for the highest standards, whether in terms of technical specifications, quality or performance. There is no doubt that the DNA of this collection – which Macron is proud to present at Pitti Uomo – is a technical one, reflecting the brand’s roots and corporate know-how; yet it is precisely these roots that provide a decisive advantage, ensuring a seamless transition from the pitch to the social scene, from competition to socialising. All this is achieved with the tailoring, style, elegance and taste that are typically ‘Designed in Bologna”.

Further information on the Macron Clubhouse collection will be published on the website macronclubhouse.com and on the Instagram profile @macronclubhouse.
