È disponibile da oggi sulle piattaforme digitali il primo nuovo episodio di Campus Talks, il podcast originale di Macron che nasce dall’idea di utilizzare lo sport come punto di partenza per incontrare persone e scoprire storie che meritano di essere raccontate.

The star of the new episode is Dario Costa, an aerobatic pilot and flight instructor, the first Italian to qualify for the Red Bull Air Race and the man behind a number of feats that have taken aerobatics into uncharted territory. In conversation with Angelo Marino, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Macron, and Carlton Myers, a former basketball player and Olympic flag-bearer, Costa looks back on the milestones of a journey shaped by passion, hard work, training and a constant quest to push his limits.

Born in Manchester and having grown up in Bologna and spent time in various parts of Africa, Dario Costa begins by recounting his connection to the city where he grew up. From this emerges the story of a passion for flying that began at an early age and, over time, evolved into a career through a journey that was anything but straightforward: from his first jobs as a gardener and postman to major international competitions.

The conversation also centres on the relationship with the fear and with the necessary preparation to tackle challenges where every detail can make all the difference. From the Red Bull Air Race qualifiers to the many “firsts” of his career – from flying under a tunnel to flying alongside a diver, amongst boats or over a moving train – Costa explains what it means to turn a seemingly impossible idea into a concrete project, through planning, precision and the ability to work in synergy with many other people.

Because, behind a flight that appears to be an individual experience, there is in fact a team. Technicians, professionals and trusted individuals work together at every stage of the most complex projects, helping to prepare for and manage situations in which mutual trust is essential.
