Macron and CD Tenerife are pleased to announce the beginning of a new partnership that will see the Italian brand, international leader in the sportswear sector, become the club’s technical partner from the 2026/27 season, marking the blanquiazules’ return to LALIGA HYPERMOTION.
The agreement brings together two organisations united by a strong identity, a deep connection to their local communities and a shared commitment to celebrating their heritage through a project founded on quality, innovation and attention to detail. Macron will supply technical apparel for CD Tenerife’s first team, youth academy and all club activities, developing collections designed to reflect the club’s values, symbols and sense of belonging.
Founded in 1922, CD Tenerife is one of the most important and recognisable football clubs in the Canary Islands. Throughout its history, the club has competed for numerous seasons at the highest levels of Spanish football, building a strong bond with the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the island as a whole. Its most significant achievements include participation in Spain’s top division and European competitions, milestones that have helped establish its reputation within the national football landscape.
Home matches are played at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López, a stadium inaugurated in 1925 that has long served as a focal point for the island’s sporting community. It is a symbolic venue that embodies the passion and strong sense of belonging that define both the club and its supporters.
Colours, tradition and local heritage will be at the heart of the collections Macron develops for CD Tenerife. The new match kits will be created through the combination of stylistic research, technical innovation and meticulous attention to detail, with the aim of expressing the club’s identity through products designed to accompany players and supporters both on and off the pitch. As with all of the Italian brand’s major partner clubs, the collections will be produced using Eco Fabric, materials made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, reaffirming Macron’s commitment to increasingly sustainable and responsible production.
“CD Tenerife is a historic institution in Spanish football and a sporting benchmark for the Canary Islands,” said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “We are beginning this partnership with the aim of developing collections that celebrate the club’s history, symbols and strong connection to its territory. We will bring to the club our expertise in designing bespoke products that combine quality, innovation and identity, helping to strengthen the sense of belonging that connects the team with its supporters.”
