The New 2024/25 home kit made by Macron for the’Udinese Calcio It was unveiled against the enchanting backdrop of the rooftop at the Hotel Columbus in Lignano Sabbiadoro, thanks to the club’s partnership with PromoTurismoFVG. The Friulian club’s new home kit, which once again features the traditional black-and-white vertical stripes, pays homage to the shirt worn during the 1995/96 season – the first of thirty consecutive seasons in Serie A. A run of success that, at present, only Inter, Lazio, Milan and Roma can boast.
The Udinese Calcio’s new home kit for the 2024/25 season It has a black polo neck with a gold band around the collar. The jumper is black and white, consisting of three vertical black stripes – two on either side that extend onto the sleeves and one down the centre. The black stripes feature a thin vertical line – also black – on the right-hand side, whilst the shirt’s fabric is characterised by a fine geometric pattern of diagonal stripes in a tone-on-tone sublimation print. The shirt’s design is inspired by the one worn during the 1995/96 season, the year in which Alberto Zaccheroni was appointed manager and which also saw the arrival of German centre-forward Oliver Bierhoff at Juventus. The back of the neck is personalised with the golden inscription “30 PLUS” to mark the Friuli-based team’s 30th consecutive season in Serie A – a phrase intended as a tribute to the entire Bianconeri community, which has been instrumental in achieving this milestone. Another important design detail is on the inside of the collar, where the Bianconeri label featuring the club’s logo appears, along with the words “ITALY’S FIRST ‘BIANCONERI’” alongside the Macron logo and the text Designed in Bologna, to certify and highlight that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, in black silicone, the Macron the Hero, whilst on the left, also made of silicone, is the emblem of the’Udinese Calcio. Names and shirt numbers are black with gold edging. The Friuli eagle, also in gold, appears on the numbers.
The new home kit is completed by black basketball-style shorts with white side stripes and white socks with a gold stripe at the top and a black central stripe, followed by the lettering UDINESE 1896.
Like all the technical kit that Macron produces for its clubs, this kit is made entirely from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from recycled post-consumer plastic. Specifically, the fabric used for the jumper is Eco Exalock, with the rear panel made of Eco Micromesh and the inserts in Eco Mesh which ensure the garment is lightweight and perfectly breathable.
The new Udinese Calcio home kit is available to buy at the Macron Sports Hub at the Bluenergy Stadium, and online via the new and revamped club shop, which comes into effect this evening, and in the dedicated space on macron.com, where you can find the full range of clothing produced by Macron for the Friuli-based club.
