Just a few days after the announcement of the partnership between Macron e Ferencváros, the most successful club in Hungarian football, the following were also presented: new game kits which the ‘Fradi’ will wear throughout the coming season. These shirts celebrate the history of a club which, this year, marks the 125th anniversary of its foundation; they feature sophisticated and exclusive graphic details, whilst also conveying a strong message of sustainability and respect for the environment. Like all the match kits produced by Macron for its clubs, the Ferencváros kits are in fact made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester fabric (%) made from post-consumer recycled plastic.

The new Home 2024/25 of the Ferencváros It features the traditional vertical white and green stripes, which feature a distinctive 3D effect achieved through the alternation of different shades of green and hues ranging from grey to white. The knitted mandarin collar is white and edged with a fine green-white-red tricolour, replicating the Hungarian flag. The back of the neck features a customised label with a green and gold background, the Ferencváros logo, alongside the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, which certifies that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the white chest are the Macron Hero logo and the club crest, adorned with two laurel branches and the number 125, commemorating the Hungarian club’s anniversary. At the bottom of the shirt is a customised tape bearing the inscription “KÜZDENI MINDIG, FELADNI SOHA!” (Always fight, never give up!), repeated and interspersed with the Ferencváros logo. The same lettering is printed in green on the outside of the back of the collar. The shorts are white, basketball-style, with green detailing along the thigh seam.

The shirt ‘Away’ is characterised by a black background with green graphics, a sublimated all-over print that captures the light and shadows of a tropical jungle. The same motif is also featured on the crew neck and sleeve hems, which are made from jacquard fabric; here, the alternating green and black triangles are intended to resemble the fangs of ferocious beasts. Here too, the back of the neck is customised, just as on the ‘Home’ kit, whilst the inside hem features a tape bearing the inscription “KÜZDENI MINDIG, FELADNI SOHA!”. The Hungarian flag is printed on the outer back of the neck. The away kit is completed by black shorts with green detailing on the thigh seam and black socks featuring a large inverted triangle at calf height. Both the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ shirts are made from jacquard fabric. Eco Exalock which is characterised by a fine all-over weave and a different ‘look and feel’ compared to traditional technical sports fabrics.

The ‘ version‘Third’ is the colour gold, with a polo-style collar featuring fine black stripes that are also repeated on the sleeve cuffs. This jersey features an all-over embossed design depicting the three ‘E’s monogram, which also appears in the club’s logo and echoes the motto of the Budapest club: Erkölcs, Erő, Agreement namely Morality, Strength and Unity. On the chest, on the right in black, is the Macron Hero logo; on the left, over the heart and in silicone print, is the Ferencváros crest. Here too, the Hungarian national flag is printed on the back of the collar. The shorts and socks are black; the socks feature an inverted gold triangle on the calf. The third kit has been produced in Eco Piola, a very soft and stretchy fabric.
