Following the announcement of the multi-year agreement, Macron e FK Austria Wien They presented the New 2024/25 home kit that Die Vilechen (the violets) they will wear next season when they take to the pitch at the Generali-Arena. A home shirt that honours tradition, yet features sophisticated and elegant geometric graphic details.
The new Home FK Austria Wien’s kit is in the classic colour purple with black detailing on the crew neck and sleeve hems. The back of the neck is personalised with the graphic featured on the shirt, the word ‘AUSTRIAWIEN’, the Austrian club’s logo, along with the Macron logo and the word Designed in Bologna, to certify and highlight how each garment is designed, planned and developed in Macron Campus. On the right-hand side of the chest, in silicone print, is the Macron Hero; on the left, over the heart, is the FK Austria Wien crest. The words are printed in white on the outside of the back of the collar: VEILCHEN, the club’s historic nickname.
The entire shirt features an all-over sublimated print with a watercolour effect, designed to pay tribute to Vienna as a city renowned worldwide for its artistic heritage. This is complemented by a fashion-inspired embossed pattern featuring repeated floral motifs depicting a violet – a flower and colour that has always been synonymous with the Austrian club. The base of the shirt features a customised inner tape bearing the words WE ARE VIENNA – WE ARE VIENNA (We are Vienna – Vienna is us), interspersed with the club’s crest.
The home kit is completed by purple shorts that incorporate stylistic elements from the world of basketball, with black stripes along the thigh. The socks, also purple, feature two horizontal black stripes just below the top edge. The shirt has a fit Slim fit, the main fabric used is Eco Softlock and the presence of the rear panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts made of Eco Mesh ensure the garment is lightweight and breathable. Fabrics Eco Fabric, 100% polyester made from recycled plastic, which underlines the Italian brand’s commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment – a commitment widely shared by FK Austria Wien.
