The’SC Heerenveen, a Dutch team playing in the Eredivisie, has unveiled the new 2024/25 home shirt which combines traditional colours and symbols with an innovative, high-performance fabric. The kit is, in fact, made from Eco Jacquard Performance, enhanced by the incorporation of a decorative motif directly into the fabric’s weave, creating a slightly raised effect across the centre of the chest and on the sides. The shirt also pays tribute to the club’s home ground since 1994, the Abe Lenstra Stadium, named after the footballer of the same name who was born in the Dutch city and played for SC Heerenveen for many years.

The new SC Heerenveen’s 2024/25 Home Kit It has a mandarin collar with a knitted trim and features the traditional vertical white and blue stripes. The white sections feature red petals, applied using sublimation printing, of pompeblêd, a distinctive symbol featured on the club’s crest as well as on the flag of Friesland, a province in the north of the Netherlands where the city the club represents is located. The back of the neck is personalised with the SC Heerenveen logo and colours, the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is designed, engineered and developed in-house Macron Campus.

The two dates, 1994–2024, are printed on the outer back of the collar, marking the 30th anniversary of the Dutch club’s debut at the Abe Lenstra Stadium. On the chest, embroidered in white, on the right is the Macron the Hero, on the left the coat of arms of the’SC Heerenveen. There are two options for the shorts: they can be either white with a blue drawstring or blue with a white drawstring.

The new Home kit, like all the technical kits produced by Macron for its clubs, is made from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from recycled post-consumer plastic. In the case of SC Heerenveen, the shirt is made from Eco Jacquard Performance with the rear panel made of Eco Micromesh and the inserts in Eco Mesh which ensure maximum breathability for the head.

SC Heerenveen’s new home kit is available in the a section dedicated to the Dutch club on the macron.com website.
