A week after the launch of the Home version, the Wrexham AFC It also unveiled the new Third kit made by Macron and which the Red Dragons will wear throughout the coming season in EFL League One. The shirt retains the design theme chosen for the Welsh club’s home shirt, featuring the dragon – the team’s symbol – alongside a tribute to the victims of the Gresford Colliery disaster. This shirt, like all the kits Macron produces for its clubs, is made from Echo Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from recycled post-consumer plastic, reflecting the shared commitment of Macron and the club to sustainability and respect for the environment.

The new Wrexham AFC’s 2024/25 third kit è gold-coloured, with a black polo neck featuring fine gold stripes in the same vintage style as the Home version. The same colour combination also appears on the sleeve cuffs. The shirt features an all-over pattern with a repeated dragon-scale design; on the sleeves, this is a sublimation print, whilst on the front of the shirt it is an embossed graphic. The back of the neck is personalised with a red-background label featuring a diagonal white-green-gold stripe in the centre, the club logo, the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is designed, engineered and developed in-house Macron Campus.

On the right-hand side of the chest, in black silicone print, the Macron the Hero, on the left, on the heart side, the coat of arms of the Wrexham AFC. As on the front, the back of the neck features a black print of the Gresford Colliery Memorial and the number 266, in memory of those who lost their lives 90 years ago in the tragic accident at the coal mine near Wrexham.

The kit is completed with a choice of two styles of basketball-style shorts: black with a gold stripe along the thigh, or white with a gold and black stripe. The gold socks feature a black stripe along the top edge. The shirt has a Regular, the main fabric used is Eco Softlock and the presence of the rear panel in Eco Micromesh and the inserts in Eco Mesh They ensure the garment is lightweight and offers excellent breathability.
